Retha Faul Consulting (refer to as RFC) was launched in 2013 and is located in Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa.
Recognizing the need for food safety specialists and a growing awareness of food safety requirements and new pressures that have raised dew to private standards, retailers and legislation RFC was launched.
The people within RFC share as much aspiration and passion for the business as any business owner should. This means that we can identify with, and provide for, the needs of our clients better than most.
Although the RFC Team may be small in numbers, we maintain a distinct passion for food safety and small business.
With an ideal mix of passion, problem solving creative minds and business minds, the RFC team is unlike any other.… Retha Faul is an experienced individual with specialist experience in food and beverage management covering over 25 years from both operational and management positions. She possesses both practical strengths in food preparation for various sectors including health, commercial, industrial, and hospitality as well as management ability in managing small and large companies in challenging and diverse environments.She has used her unique blend of qualifications to turn around organizations and achieve steady incremental growth, profitability and market share. Her ability to lead operations from a fundamental organizational cultural level, as well as her advanced in decision-making skills, has seen organizational improvements and growth in the companies.

Retha Faul is an experienced SAATCA registered Lead auditor in ISO 22000, FSSC 22000 and HACCP with 18 years of experience in the field of Food Safety in the processing and manufacturing sectors.
Retha has successfully lead several clients to achieve GLOBALG.A.P, Food Safety certification at GFSI and full certification level.
What distinguish her from others in her field of expertise are her practical approach and her passion for her fields. Retha is also a registered auditor with SAATCA (Southern Africa Auditor and Training Certification authority)

Lerina Van Zyl
Lerina started her food safety journey in 2000 after completing her ND:Agric Animal Production at TUT. Following this, her involvements and experience grew through food processing (FSSC22000, HACCP, GGSI), slaughter houses, fruit and vegetable farming and packing (Globalgap, BRC) to Food contact packaging and services such as cleaning, catering, chemicals and pest control to the Food industry (ISO22000, ISO9001, ISO 14000). She is a Food Safety lead auditor, facilitator and assessor and have a passion for food safety system development.
